Care Insurance will provide cover for cleaning, repairing, or replacing your item of furniture in the event of it being accidentally damaged or structural defects following the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty period.
What am I covered against?
Accidental staining which is sudden and unforeseen resulting from:
- Food & Beverages
- Ink, Paint & Dye
- Human & Pet Bodily Fluids
- Glue & Superglue
- Dye transfer from clothing & Newspaper Print
- Acids, bleaches, caustic & corrosive solutions
Accidental damage which is sudden and unforeseen resulting from:
- Rips
- Tears
- Burns
- Scuffs, Scratches & Punctures.
- Pet damage
What is excluded in my policy?
- Damage caused deliberately by any person
- The cover is not provided for staining or damage, accidental or otherwise, which has occurred or accumulated over a period of time or is from normal everyday use
- Any damage resulting from wear and tear
- The effects of sunlight, wind, weather, rusting, radiation, building fire, smoke damage, flooding or corrosion upon the product
- Any transit damage
- Damage caused by any animal other than your pet(s)
- Accidental damage (including staining) caused by the use of incorrect or inappropriate cleaning products or cleaning methods.

How many visits does the insurance cover?
Our premium covers you for up to 5 years and you are not required to pay any annual fee or call-out charges.
When does the policy expire?
Your policy expires on the expiry date shown on your policy certificate. This is usually 5 years from the date your furniture is delivered, which is when the policy begins.
When will I receive my documentation?
You will receive full documentation relevant to your Upholstery Care Plan upon delivery of your order.
I've moved house, how can I change my address?
If you have moved to a new house, you will need to inform our insurance provider of your change of address in writing. Please include your previous address, new address, full name and policy ID when writing.

How can I purchase the Upholstery Care Insurance?
You can add this to your basket, alongside your Made To Order sofa during the purchase process. You can purchase in our showrooms, through our sales telephone lines, or on our website.
If I forget to add it to my purchase, can I add it on afterward?
You will have a 14-day period of time after your purchase to add on the Upholstery Care Insurance. Unfortunately, after this period you will not be able to add on the Care Insurance package.
Your order confirmation email will state the date and time of your purchase.
